When practicing “Ngakso” we restore and purify our broken vows and samayas. The ritual is beneficial for an individual practice as well as for maintaining harmony within Sangha.
“Ngakso” was one of Sixteenth Karmapa's favorite rituals. Famous mediation master and father of Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche emphasized the importance of performing Ngakso Puja. Thanks to him this practice is now annually performed in Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery in Nepal.
Sadhana of “Ngakso” drubchen was developed by a Grand Tertön Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa based on his own terma, as well as many other tantric texts. It reveals many aspects of Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava, including his twelve manifestations, Avalokiteshvara, Amitabha, and hundered peaceful and wrathful DeitiesRegistration
